Dr. Tonya S. Roberson

Dr. Tonya S. Roberson (Trustee) is a community psychologist with over 7 years of medical and social sciences research experience and 12 years of clinical nutrition/food service systems management experience. Dr. Roberson earned her Master’s Degree in Public Health at DePaul University and a doctoral degree in Community Psychology from National Louis University.  She is employed at the University of Illinois at Chicago as an Assistant Research Director and is currently working on a five-year End of Life study for African American caregivers and their loved ones with memory loss. She is also a board member for the nonprofit ACTS OF FAITH (Actions Connected To Spirituality Forming Alliances In Transforming Health).
